Desmond Cadogan

Desmond after arriving in NY from Canada at 17, Desmond studied with Dance Theater of Harlem then The Joffrey Ballet School. Later, he modeled for Robert Mapplethorpe, Rainer Fetting, Basquiat, Gaultier, Yves St Laurent, Miyake, Commes des Garcons, Mugler and others around the world before recently returning to dance with HLD.

Victoria joined Heidi Latsky Dance in 2017. She received her dance training from the Greenwich Ballet Academy, the Royal Ballet School’s International Summer School, and the Merce Cunningham School. Victoria holds a B.A in French Studies from Columbia University and currently writes for Backstage Magazine and teaches French.

Meredith has performed with Karole Armitage, Alexandra Beller, Monica Bill Barnes, David Hallberg/Francesco Vezzoli, Deborah Hay, Heidi Latsky, Elisabeth Motley, Palissimo, Jimena Paz, Laura Peterson, Sarah Skaggs, Steeledance, Virginia Ballet Theatre. Graduated from Columbia University, Pre-Medical Concentration in English. Mother of Graham Sterling Proskin. Joined HLD in 2007.

Tiffany Geigel

Tiffany started dancing at 3yrs old. She received her BA in NYC. Nico a Colorado native, received his early training at Denver School of the Arts and with Brian Young. He graduated from NYU Tisch where he performed in works by Bill T. Jones and Merce Cunningham. He currently dances for Rovaco Dance, Bryn Cohn + Artists and Gwendolyn & Guests.

Jerron Herman

Jerron is a principal dancer with cerebral palsy and Development Director at HLD, joining the company in 2011 having never danced before. Jerron is currently on the Board of Trustees at Dance/USA. He’s featured on Great Big Story, being called "the inexhaustible Mr. Herman" by The NY Times.

Jillian Hollis

Jillian began dancing at a young age in Syracuse NY.  She studied at The Center of Ballet and Dance Arts, headed by Deborah Boughton and performed in many high school and local community theater productions.  Jillian attended college at Point Park University and graduated in 3 years with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance.  Jillian met Heidi Latsky at Point Park College and had the opportunity to partake in a workshop and dance for her there.  In the spring, Jillian graduated and moved to New York City, by the fall she was performing with Heidi Latsky Dance at The Duke Theater on 42nd Street.  Jillian has been dancing with the company since 2002 and is a teaching artist for HLD as well.  Jillian has had the opportunity to work and perform with many other artists and companies including Rocha Dance Theater, Incidents Physical Theater, Heather Harrington, Carrie Ahern, Joseph Mills, TAKE Dance, The Good to Go Girls, Lady Rizo and the Assettes and Jenny Rocha and Her Painted Ladies.  The Painted Ladies won Best Large Group in 2015 at The Burlesque Hall of Fame in Vegas.  Jillian is also a vivacious burlesque performer in the NYC scene and when not dancing she is teaching Pilates, making costumes or baking.  Jillian has been written up in The New York Times as “blithely irrepressible” and her movement described as “voluptuous and powerful” by Deborah Jowitts.

Donald Lee
       
     
Donald Lee

Donald was first sculpted by Heidi Latsky for ON DISPLAY - Summer Streets, 2016. He continues to morph in various iterations of DISPLAY by Heidi Latsky Dance. In 2018, Donald was in a trio with fellow HLD dancers Meredith Fages and Sabatino Verlezza for Verlezza Dance, which shares HLD's philosophy to use atypical bodies as sights/sites to address the ideas of beauty, physicality, and authenticity.

Louisa began her training in Brattleboro, Vermont at the Brattleboro School of Dance. She has a BFA in dance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is currently working on her masters in Dance/Movement Therapy at the Pratt Institute. She began working with Heidi Latsky Dance in 2015.

Amy native New Yorker, attended The High School of Performing Arts. Switched from Ballet to Modern Dance major. Dancer with Alvin Ailey's Workshop company, musical & regional theater. BA NYU/Tisch, Equity, SAG-AFTRA, MSW. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis & Wheelchair user since 2004. Honored to be HLD member since 2016.

Jaclyn has been grooving with Heidi Latsky Dance since spring 2016. Highlights of her career include performing and teaching internationally, (Mexico, London, Armenia, and Italy) and performing Martha Graham's Panorama at New York City Center after graduating in 2012.

Kelly Ramis

Kelly began her training in Portland OR and graduated with a BA in Dance and minor in Business Management from Point Park University in 2014. Ramis has been dancing for HLD since August of 2016 and could not be happier to be a part of such an inspiring company! Other highlights include performing with Modus Operandi in Vancouver BC and being a member of Donofrio Dance Company, based in Brooklyn NY.

CARMEN SCHOENSTER

Carmen joined HLD in October of 2016 after meeting Heidi at Steps on Broadway. Heidi asked if she would be interested in joining her for a project called On Display and Carmen began working with HLD right away.  Previously she danced for a company called Todd Rosenlieb Dance for two years and have trained at Nashville Ballet, Charlotte Ballet and graduated from the Governor's School for the Arts in 2011.

Tianshi born and raised in Beijing, China, came to NYC three years ago to pursue his dream in music. He graduated from Integral Yoga as a certified Hatha teacher. He tries to combine his unique musicality and his meditative approach to movement and life into dance performance.

Leslie Taub

Leslie is a disabled model and performing artist who trained with AXIS Dance and has been working with Heidi Latsky since 2015. Her favorite "Team HLD" experiences include collaborating with NuVu Studio students to design a unique wearable sculpture costume, and opening the 2016 Culture Shock Festival on The High Line. In addition to her role in ON DISPLAY, Leslie continues to study ballet and modern dance.

Peter is a disabled dancer with Cerebral Palsy from New York City who has been with Heidi Latsky Dance since the Summer of 2015 .  Peter also dances with Marked Dance Project. He went to Queens College for a B.A. in Urban Planning and Environmental Studies.

Sabatino danced with the May O’Donnell Dance Company, Joyce Trisler Danscompany, Sophie Maslow, Norman Walker, Glenn-Lund Dance, Dances/Janet Soares, Claire Porter/Portables. His choreography has been presented nationally/internationally: Joyce Trisler Danscompany, Joffrey II, May O’Donnell Dance Company, Verlezza Dance, Dancing Wheels, Ben Vereen, and Christopher Walken among others.
