FILMS

The constant bombardment of external and internal noise is visceral. The desire to order it is profoundly human. The desire to rise out of its grip by harnessing it and creating out of its frightening randomness something of virtue is art. Guided by my instincts, I articulate the aloneness of our humanity not as a negative but as a given. Through movement portraits that shatter stereotypes and reveal the complexity of each person, I expose the underbelly of our existence: our vulnerability and fierceness. Through the intimacy and individuality of these portraits, I aim to convey deep universal truths.
